Hello!
We are Christel & Zetske (you can scroll down to read more about us)
HOW IT STARTED
One day, we were having a conversation about things we wish we knew when we started out as young professional actors. We realised that even after studying drama, walking onto a professional set for the first time was daunting & overwhelming!
We wanted to put together a course that makes the transition into the industry easier. And so, in 2021, Close Up was born. Our aim is to equip young actors with the technical skills required to be industry-ready.
Most drama curriculums are theatre orientated, yet the industry is dominated by film and television, especially multicam. This creates quite a big gap in the training of actors. With this course, we want to fully prepare aspiring actors for the industry.
